XP for Gold
- 1 XP per 1 GP treasure recovered from the adventure.
- Rewards, bounties, and patrons count for XP.
- 1/10th of monster XP for planned encounters.
- Does not count:
- Downtime or investment earnings.
- Money stolen from party members.
- Selling magic items or equipment from dead party members.
- Hand out Gold XP when they reach "town"
- Group XP based on what's been found, not based on what each individual character collected.
Level up in town
Leveling up requires a relatively safe environment
- In "town" where it would be reasonable to spend 1-2 days resting (aka downtime), with some exceptions based on plot-timing.
